Yupiyu is an online dating app designed as part of the datedicted online dating platform that premiered in Germany but has since gone on to become a European product. While working at the company I worked initially on the online marketing advertising, landing pages and the dating website itself then moved on to become the lead designer focusing on the rebranded YUPIYU app.
The premise of the app was to be simple easy to use but not aloud constant hassling of users by other users. It also incorporated a tinder style way of meeting people but after a match was made if no communication was made from both sides with in 24 hours the user was unmatched again.
The design was kept simple and after a very brief and intuitive tutorial overlay the user was all set to go. The simple streamlined design aloud the user to use the app at a glance without having to spend time figuring out complex and time consuming process.
